MBPIS/BPISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Immortality wins Group 1st under noted breeder judge Guy Jeavons and Group 2nd under breeder judge Mark McMillan at the Ottawa Kennel Club show!  Laureate Invincible picks up his first three points.  What a great way to end off our show season.

November 14/14: New American Champion!  It is now MBPIS/BPISS Am/Can Ch Laureate Immortality!  Rehannah finished with a Best of Breed over Specials!

 

November 10 2014: We say goodbye to our beloved "Finn".  Gone much too soon.

 

November 8,9 2014: Laureate Invincible, "Vinnie", wins Runner-Up to Best in Sweeps, Winners Dog and Best of Winners (for a 4 point major) at his very first show!  Thank you judges Mark Lazarus and Jean Simmonds.  MBPIS/.BPISS Can Ch Laureate Immortality, "Rehannah", wins a 4 point major to bring her to 10 points.

The following day "Vinnie" wins Best in Sweeps under judge Donna Hall and Reserve WD under judge Debbie Wyman.  "Rehannah" follows up with her 4th consecutive Specialty major and wins WB!  She is now within a point of her American Championship.

October 5, 2014: MBPIS/BPISS Ch Laureate Immortality wins back-to-back Specialty majors
at the Interstate SSC in Macungie PA. 

July 19,2014: While we were away on holiday we received news of three new Canadian Champions:

Can Ch Laureate Accessorize (co-owned and handled by Brenda Campbell)
Can Ch Laureate Alinea (co-owned and co-bred and handled by Pennylynn Woodruff)
Can Ch Laureate Takesushi, thanks to handler Diane Biggar!

June 7, 2014: Am/Can Ch Laureate Homage wins Select Dog first time out as a Special! 
Thank you judge Debbie Tessman for this honour!

Can Ch Laureate Valrhona WB the second day under judge Janet Turnage-Nahikian! Valerie is co-owned with her co-breeders Patty and Ted Richards.

June 1, 2014: We celebrate a new American Champion!  Finishing in whirlwind fashion, it is now Am/Can Ch Laureate Homage!  "Lu" won 3 majors the first weekend out after his ASSA National win.  Thank you judges Meredith and Hector Hector and Dorothy Collier for the Best of Breed and Group 2nd!

BISS Can Ch Laureate Shades of Grey (Ana) picks up a major her first weekend in the US!

May 25, 2014: Celebrating two new Champions this weekend!  First to finish was "Lu", Laureate Homage.  Then "Jenny" goes in the ring and wins winners to finish and become Ch Laureate Jennavive!  Lu goes Best of Breed over a Special and on to Group 1st under judge Chris Graham!  These two were handled by Pete to these wins.

 

Canadian Champion #100!

May 19, 2014: It is now Champion Laureate Iridescent!  Thank you co-owners Allison and Todd Foley for finishing this lovely bi-blue girl!  "Iris" won 6 Best Puppy in Groups and a Breed and Group 3rd along the way. Pictured at 8 weeks of age.

Laureate Jennavive is now up to 9 points.  This little 13 1/2" pint looks pretty impressive when you get down to her level.  However, most people just comment on how cute she is!

 It's now BISS Champion Laureate Shades Of Grey!  Winning Best of Breed at the CC&SSC Specialty show. 
Thank you judge Judi Byrne and handler Kim Wendling (I'm filling in for Kim in the photo)!  Laureate Homage picked up 3 points putting him on 8.

Laureate Iridescent (Iris) wins 9 points, including 4 Best puppy in Groups.  Thank you co-owners Allison and Todd Foley.  We are now up to 99 Canadian Champions and wondering who will be #100!

ASSA 2014

April 15, 2014: Laureate Homage, "Lu" wins the 9-12 month AOC class under judge Mark McMillan and thrills us by winning reserve winners dog! Thank you handler Shelley McHugh-Boumans for your exceptional handling of our special boy.

 Laureate Homage, "Lu" wins the 9-12 month Futurity puppy dog class under judge Sheila Monks

Laureate Cloak And Dagger (Pansy) wins 4th in a very competitive 9-12 month AOC puppy bitch class.  She is co-owned with Amy Massey and was handled by Karen Munster

BISS Am GCh/Can Ch Laureate Cold Play wins his third consecutive Award of Merit!  Congratulations to handler/owner Becky Johnson and co-owner Sherrie Sparling!


April 5, 2014: We start the show season off with a bang!  At the Tri-State Specialties in CT, Laureate Homage, "Lu" wins Best in Sweeps under Collie specialist Lynn Butler and Reserve WD.

Then BPIS Ch Laureate Be My Guest wins a 5 point major WD/BOS for his third major in as many shows.  He follows up in the afternoon with another 5 point major to become a new American Champion in a whirlwind 4 shows!  Hilton is pictured above last summer.

To top it off, Am/Can Ch Laureate Jivara dusts off her party shoes and goes back to back Specialty Best in Show! Thank you judges Kathy Ryan and Johanna Primeaux for the wins!
